We are proud to present this excessively rare and most stunningly preserved skull together with a lower jaw with molars of a Pleistocene Woolly Rhinoceros. Highly recommended for advanced collectors and museum and university collections. In many years of collecting and dealing we have rarely seen a better Rhino skull! It is very rare and special for its truly magnificent state of preservation, preserving small details such as the hearing bones. The upper jaw still has the original 10 molars locked in the jaw tissue (5 left and 5 right), the lower jaw also has 10 molars. The lower jaw has been professionally repaired from the original pieces. The photograph of the top of the cranium clearly shows the bases where the animal's enormous horns were attached. Worthy of any museum collection. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
Attractively presented on a custom-made stand with wooden base and ready to display.
