On offer is a beautiful partial lower jaw of an adult moose from the Pleistocene era. Although only partially preserved, this jaw still has many wonderful details of anatomy, as seen in the images. Six of the original molars survive. No restoration whatsoever. Interesting and exceptionally rare item. Judging from the size, this belonged to an adult animal. Moose material is much rarer than Mammoth fossils. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
