On offer is a bargain collection of five partial fossils of the European cave lion (Panthera leo spelaea). These fossils include a partial radius, skull, pelvis, calcaneus and tibia. All partially preserved but still very attractive, as seen in the images. Very rare pieces. We cannot stress enough how rare fossils from this most dominant and rare of carnivores was. Highly recommended for the serious collector or for museum or university collections. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
