On offer is a beautiful partial skull with hornpits of a large Pleistocene Wisent, the predecessor of modern day American and European bison. Good state of preservation, the left hornpit has been professionally restored from the original pieces, as seen in the images (see also the arrows for the restorations). Very impressive piece. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
