Latin Name: Bison
Age: Probably more than a million years old
On offer is a partial hornpit of an unidentified species of Wisent, the predecessor of modern day American and European bison. This particular species is smaller than the Pleistocene species of Bison priscus. It is usually found together with specimens of Meridionalis and Alces latifrons, and therefore must be older than 600,000 years. Highly interesting piece for the real collector. Possibly Bison sivalensis or Bison menneri, but requires further study.
Attractively presented on a custom-made stand with wood base, and ready to display.
Shipping: $ 35 for the European Union, $ 50 for the rest of the world.
