Irish elk was one of the most impressive creatures of all Ice Age fauna, its enormous antlers being very sought after. On offer is a partial lower jaw of an Irish Elk, which still includes five of the original molars. This specimen belonged to an adult animal and despite being a fragment still in good state of preservation, as seen in the images. No restoration whatsoever. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
