We are proud to present this excessively rare and most stunningly preserved skull together with a lower jaw with molars of a Pleistocene adult male Woolly Rhinoceros. Highly recommended for advanced collectors and museum and university collections. In many years of collecting and dealing we have rarely seen a better Rhino skull! It is very rare and special for its truly magnificent state of preservation, preserving small details such as the hearing bones. The upper jaw in the skull still has seven original molars locked in the jaw tissue, and the lower jaw has eight molars. Very good state of preservation, the back of the skull has been professionally restored (see condition chart). The horns are modern reproductions, as these do not survive in the fossil record. Worthy of any museum collection.
Attractively presented on a custom-made stand with wooden base and ready to display. Much more impressive than the photos can convey and highly recommended. Will be the jewel in any collection!
