On offer is a beautiful cervical vertebra of a Stephanorhinus kirchbergensis. Very interesting and rare item. The Stephanorhinus kirchbergensis lived during the Lower to Early Late Pleistocene in Northern Eurasia. Its fossils are much rarer than those of the Woolly Rhinoceros. Good state of preservation, apart from a few minor usual damages, as seen in the images, and highly recommended. This vertebra was located in the neck secion of the spinal cord. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
