On offer is a fascinating half lower jaw of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This is the left half of the jaw, with a well preserved M1 molar still firmly locked in the jaw tissue, together with the developing M2 molar behind. This piece is well preserved with many details of anatomy still intact, as seen in the images. No restoration whatsoever. This half jaw comes from a juvenile animal. Rare piece for the real collector. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
