This wonderful lower jaw belonged to a juvenile Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. As seen in the images it still includes the M2 molars and the previous M1 molars locked in the jaw tissue. Interesting to see how the M2 molars replaced the M1 molars. This will make a great conversation piece but is also truly a museum quality piece suitable for the beginning and experienced collector. Although it has been professionally repaired from the original pieces, it is still in good condition, with many anatomical details beautifully preserved. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
Presented on a custom-made stand with mahogany brown finish and ready to display.
