On offer is a fantastic and large humerus of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This fossil is in good state of preservation, as seen in the images. Interestingly, there are some scavenging bite marks on this fossil. No restoration whatsoever. The humerus is one of the mammoth's most impressive bones, and judging from the size of this piece, this would have belonged to an adult Mammoth. Just like that of humans, it was located in the animal's front, upper legs (the upper part of the arms of humans) and it thus had to support the animals massive weight, including that of its enormous tusks.
