On offer is a nearly complete beautiful tusk of an adult female Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. The tusk measures over 81 cm (31.8 in) over the curve and is a truly wonderful piece. The item has a fantastic curve and on top of that has some absolutely stunning white, gold and brown colouring with fantastic patterning. This tusk is in excellent state of preservation, there is only a little damage to the tip and to the base, as seen in the images. Highly recommended. As this piece was very well preserved in the Siberian permafrost, it is in as found condition, with no restoration whatsoever. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch. This piece has been applied with a matt finish, but it is also possible to order it with a glossy finish.
Attractively displayed on a custom-made stand with black finish, and ready to display. This is a museum quality fossil, but also an object of great beauty and a great conversation piece.
This has been legally exported from Russia and is accompanied by all apprpriate paperwork.
