On offer is a beautiful ulna or elbow bone of a juvenile Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This piece is in excellent condition, as seen in the images. The ulna is one of the mammoth's most impressive bones. Just like that of humans, it was located in the animal's front, lower legs and it thus had to support the animals massive weight, including that of its enormous tusks. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 in.
This fossil has been legally exported from Russia and is accompanied by all appropriate paperwork.
