On offer is a superb inner core of tusk of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene age, together with a piece of tusk. These pieces belonged to the same animal and fit together beautifully. Both pieces are in partial condition but otherwise in wonderful state of preservation, as seen in the images. It is of beautiful colouring of mainly white, gold, brown and black and with stunning patterning. A matt finish has been applied to these pieces but it is also possible to order them with a glossy finish. No restoration whatsoever. Judging from the size this would have belonged to an adult animal. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
These fossils have been legally exported from Russia.
