This wonderful lower jaw belonged to a juvenile Woolly Mammoth and still includes the M1 molars and also the previous P4 molars still locked in the jaw tissue. Interesting to see how the M1 molars replaced the P4 molars. This will make a great conversation piece but is also truly a museum quality piece suitable for the beginning and experienced collector. This jaw is in wonderful state of preservation, including the beautifully preserved molars, as shown in the images, with many anatomical details beautifully preserved. Highly recommended piece, much nicer in the flesh and the images can convey. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
This piece is attractively presented on a custom-made stand with wood base with dark finish, and is ready to be displayed.
This fossil has been legally exported from Russia and is accompanied by all appropriate paperwork.
