We are proud to present this superb and most impressive cranium with hornpits of a fully grown adult Pleistocene Wisent from the Pleistocene era, the predecessor of modern day American and European bison. Excellent state of preservation as seen in the photographs, but this has been repaired from the original pieces (intricate fossils such as this one are almost never found intact), with a small amount of reconstructed areas (please enquire for further details). This would have belonged to an adult animal. Highly attractively and especially displayable piece, and highly recommended. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
Attractively presented on a custom-made stand with dark wood base, and ready to display.
Shipping: priority crated shipping by Fedex, cost on request depending on destination (generally in the region of $ 600)
