On offer is a superb and complete humerus of a Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. This piece has been professionally restored, but is otherwise complete and in good condition, as seen in the images. The humerus is one of the mammoth's most impressive fossils. Just like that of humans, it was located in the animal's front, upper legs (the upper part of the arms of humans) and it thus had to support the animals massive weight (including that of its enormous tusks). The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch. This humerus comes from an old collection.
This piece has been legally exported from Russia and is accompanied by all appropriate paperwork.
