On offer is a gorgeous skull of a male Irish Elk. Noo restoration or repairs whatsoever, in as found condition; the molars are somewhat damaged, but overal a very attractive piece with beautiful finish.
Irish Elk was one of the most impressive creatures to inhabit the North Sea area. Its amazing antlers could grow to enormous sizes and are among the most sought after and expensive fossils. On offer is a large portion of the skull of this animal, in good condition.
Presented on a custom-made wood and metal stand with dark brown mahogany finish.
