On offer is a nice collection of ten partial bones of the European brown bear or Ursus arctos from the Pleistocene era. We cannot stress enough how rare fossils from this impressive species are. Most bear fossils which are offered on the market are of cave bears, but this is the much rarer brown bear. These include a femur, a radius, two humeri, two skulls and four lower jaws, all in damaged and partial but still interesting condition, as seen in the images. Ideal for the beginning collector or for re-selling. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
