On offer is a good and large cranium with hornpits of an adult Pleistocene Wisent, the predecessor of modern day American and European bison. This is a partial fossil, and has been professionally repaired from the two original halves. Apart from a few minor damages it is however still in good state of preservation, as shown in the images. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm (3.9 inch).
