On offer is a stunning and huge horn of a Aurochs, the predecessor of the modern cow. The piece is still attached to the partial cranium of the animal and is 95 cm or 37.4 inch long, measured along the curve of the horn. A stunning item which will surely make for a wonderful display piece. This fossil has been professionally repaired from the two original pieces, these intricate pieces are almost never found completely intact.
The custom-made wood stand with black finish is included and makes this a truly monumental and highly displayable item. Not just an object of great age and rarity, this is also a work of art in itself and makes a great display piece. Much more beautiful in the flesh than the photos can convey, and highly recommended.
