This wonderful half lower jaw belonged to a juvenile Woolly Mammoth from the Pleistocene era. As seen in the images it still includes the M molar and the previous M1 molar locked in the jaw tissue. Interesting to see how the M2 molars replaced the M1 molars. This will make a great conversation piece but is also truly a museum quality piece suitable for the beginning and experienced collector. This piece is only a half jaw and is still in good condition, with many anatomical details beautifully preserved. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
