On offer is a fascinating lower jaw of a mammoth with two well preserved M2 molars still firmly locked in the jaw tissue, together with one developing M3 molar behind the right M2. The left section of the jaw is somewhat incomplete, but otherwise it is well preserved, as seen in the images. This jaw must have come from an animal which was about 30 years old when it died. Rare piece for the real collector. The black and white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
