This exceptionally rare and beautifully preserved lower jaw with both M2 molars belonged to a nearly adult Palaeoloxodon antiquus, or Elephas antiquus. Much rarer than the more commondly encountered Woolly Mammoth. Museum quality piece with many details superbly preserved and highly recommended. Wonderful state of preservation, as seen in the images. The lower jaw has been professionally restored, and the molar as well. Fragile pieces like this are almost never found intact.

Attractively presented on a custom-made stand with wood base with dark finish and ready to display.
