On offer is a rare and fantastic canine of a European brown bear (Ursus arctos) from the Pleistocene era. We cannot stress enough how rare fossils of this impressive species are. Most bear fossils which are offered on the market belong to cave bears, rather than the very rare brown bear. This fossil belonged to an adult animal and is a wonderful state of preservation, as seen in the images. No restoration whatsoever. Very rare piece, wonderful for the specialized collector. The black-and-white section of the ruler in the image represents 10 cm / 3.9 inch.
